Veterinary Neurology of South Florida Dr. Julia Blackmore (772) 286-2338 Dr. Julia Blackmore, a native of North Carolina, received her Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. Dr Blackmore completed her residency program in 1985 under the direction of Dr. Cherly Chrisman and Dr. Roger Clemmons at the University of Florida and received her board certification in Veterinary Neurology in 1986. Dr. Blackmore worked at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center in Fort Pierce, Florida from 1986 to 1989 and then established her base office in Stuart Florida in 1989 to begin her mobile neurology and neurosurgical practice which at that time covered Orlando to Homestead. In the fall of 2007, a neurology clinic was estalished at the Coral Springs Animal Hospital. Due to continued traffic congestion and unpredicable gas prices, Dr. Blackmore is now establishing a neurology/neurosurgical clinic in West Palm Beach Florida. 2239 S. Kanner Hwy.
